Derren Brown on Meditations

Derren Brown has a favorite piece of advice from Bryan Cranston, and he thinks it accidentally sums up a genuine Stoic technique. Brown works out the honest version of that advice: chase the standard, not the outcome, on a tennis court as much as in a career. Then he turns the same test on himself, and the answer he gives about his own famously busy working life is not the noble one you would expect.
